Pampered Pets has been in operation for 25 years, is family owned by Jim and Betsy Brown. They share a tremendous pride in the Pampered Pet’s legacy of being the premier pet boarding facility of the Charlottesville Community striving to truly exceed all their customers' anticipated needs and expectations every day of the year. They share the undertaking of providing first class accommodations, flawless execution of guest services and of course providing tender loving care to all guests that come to stay at Pampered Pets.

We are proud members of the Pet Care Services Association, formerly the American Boarding Kennel Association (ABKA). Pampered Pets is strongly committed to supporting our local community, animal shelters, charities, veterinarians, youth organizations and other groups throughout the year. Whether in sponsorships, donations, auction items, or participation in events, Pampered Pets takes pride in being a member of the Charlottesville/Albemarle community.

Staff

We adore animals! Our staff's actions match these words and adhere to a strict code of conduct that values honesty, hard work and most of all kindhearted, affectionate care. The Pampered Pet's staff has participated in the highly respected educational program on pet first aide provided by the American Red Cross. In fact, our full time staff averages over 5 years of pet care services.

Positions:

Pet Care Technician
Fulfill your dream to work with animals! A vital part of our luxury pet resort is caring for the dogs and cats lodging with us. Pet health, happiness, and well-being are of the utmost importance in this position. Responsibilities include cleaning, feeding, and close monitoring of pet guests as well as interacting with clients.

Activities Counselor
Animal Lovers! Be the lucky one providing quality activity sessions for our canine and feline guests! Romp and play in both our out door and in door yards, belly rubs, and brushing are just a few of your responsibilities. Enthusiastic outdoor-loving individuals may gain experience toward animal careers in this entry level position.

Bather
Turn dirty dogs into show-dogs! Our bathers are the cornerstone of our premier pet grooming facility. Responsibilities include thorough bathing of all breeds and coat types and cleaning ears. Entry-level opportunities are available. Experienced bathers will be given the opportunity to learn styling as well.

Canine Stylist
Beautify pets! Pampered Pet's stylists create the best look in town for each dog based on the coat and the client's wishes. All breed experience is required as well as a creative eye for designer breeds. Excellent customer service skills are required. Entry-level positions are available for grooming school graduates.

Pet Care Specialist
Our clients deserve the finest in customer service! These employees help build and maintain positive relationships with pet owners while tending to their needs, questions, and requests. This Inside Sales position involves obtaining new client information, guiding clients through our services, taking reservation requests, and providing facility tours. This position requires great phone, computer, sales, and communication skills. Enthusiasm required.
